The Gamma Tau Alumni Association is the vehicle for lifelong fraternity and the official alumni group of the Gamma Tau Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu. The Association works with the Chapter to produce our annual Alumni Weekend in Gainesville, hosts local and regional events across the country, maintains an extensive alumni directory, and much more.

In order to join the Gamma Tau Alumni Association, you must be an initiated member of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity and have at some point been affiliated with the Gamma Tau (University of Florida) Chapter. Additionally, alumni who have not yet received a bachelor’s degree or who at any point were placed into special alumni status by the Fraternity require approval from the Association Council before joining.

Process, Dues, and Fees:

• Simply fill out the form below; your application will be processed and you will receive confirmation of membership and an invoice for your Association dues.
• Your membership will not be complete until you pay your initial dues, along with any required new member fees ($25 if you are joining more than one year after becoming an alumnus). After your application is processed and approved, you will receive an invoice by e-mail at the address you provided.
• Membership dues for the Alumni Association are currently set at $75 per year.
• Fratres who join the association within two months of becoming alums are not required to pay dues their first year, and are exempted from the new membership fee.
